Sarah Beth & Jonathan

It is so evident that she loves her work and cares about the people that she is working with! She was so patient and very non-intrusive during the ceremony events and had a plan for all the family photos afterwards. We are so grateful that we chose Eve to photograph our special day. The pictures are lovely and we will cherish them forever!

KIND WORDS

Sarah & Geni

Eve helped us feel comfortable taking photos as my husband and I are pretty camera shy. She truly captured beautiful moments and I could not be happier with my photos. I genuinely feel happy and excited every time I look at the moments she so beautifully captured.

The Experience

As your wedding photographer, I'm present before, during, and after your big day. My work begins long before your wedding day arrives, as we plan your engagement session together, discuss your vision, get to know eachother on a personal level and create your day-of timeline. My approach and everything I do for my clients is with the intention of making sure your entire photography experience is fun, natural, and relaxing from the moment you first inquire, all the way through the happiest day of your life! Forming real connections with my couples is so vital to the way that I work as a photographer, and I strive to make sure you are as comfortable, happy, and carefree as possible on your big day! The ultimate goal is for you to feel as though you have friends photographing your wedding, and capturing your day as naturally as it unfolds.

My style of photography can be described as classic and timeless, full of contrast and vibrant colors. I use a combination of medium format film and digital to achieve this look. I always like to combine flattering and natural posing along with capturing candid moments to create a final gallery of photos that are a natural reflection of you and your love story.

All wedding collections include a complimentary engagement session, an online gallery of your final edited photos shot on a combination of both film and digital formats, and rights to print your images. Additional a la carte options include bridal sessions, professional prints, luxury archival print boxes, and heirloom albums.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. HOW MUCH CAN I EXPECT TO INVEST IN MY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY COLLECTION?

My wedding photography collections begin at $2000, with most of my clients investing an average of $2700.

2. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR COLLECTIONS?

Each collection includes coverage ranging between 6 and 8 hours, as well as a complimentary engagement session, and an online gallery for viewing and downloading your photos. A second shooter, a pre-wedding site visit, and other add-ons are included in a few of my collections as well. Please inquire to see my full investment guide with prices and what is included in each collection.

3. HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?

I typically shoot between 75-100 photos per hour. However, the final amount of photos in your gallery totally depends on your unique wedding day events, your chosen collection, and whether or not there is a second shooter present. For an 8 hour day, final photo count ranges from 500-1000 images.

4. DO YOU USE A SECOND SHOOTER?

Yes! My second shooter is my super cute husband-to-be, Austin. He makes my job so much easier, and is an exceptionally talented photographer as well. We have our wedding day routine down-pat, so Austin second shoots most of the weddings I take on. In the rare occurrence of an emergency or scheduling conflict, I have a great group of girls to choose from that can take his place, and all are amazing to work with.

5. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PHOTOGRAPHING WEDDINGS?

After a year of shadowing, assisting, and second shooting for a handful of talented photographers, I photographed my first wedding in the summer of 2015. I'm going into my fourth year of taking on my absolute dream job full time!

6. CAN YOU HELP ME PLAN MY DAY-OF TIMELINE?

Yes! Assisting in timeline creation is a service I offer all of my clients within every collection, because a well planned timeline ensures that I can do my job efficiently, have enough time for the photos that are most important to you, and serve you as my client to the best of my ability.

7. WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

I am a hybrid photographer, so I shoot with both film and digital formats. My film work is shot mostly with Fuji 400h film, a medium format film stock that lends itself to my signature bright, colorful, and pastel style.

8. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FILM AND DIGITAL?

Film and digital both each have their own advantages, and I use both throughout each and every wedding day. Images shot on film have an overall look that is aesthetically different to an image that digital formats can produce. The "look" of film has more depth, retains detail better than digital images do, and processes color and light in a way that just looks prettier to film photographers and those that love the film look. Shooting film also requires an intentionality that isn't consistently there with digital. Since there are only so many frames on a roll of film, you can't just fire off a million photos within a few seconds and hope there's a good one in there, like you can with a digital camera. To photograph you on film, I have to really make each and every image count, and perfectly craft and compose the photo before taking it. This means that your gallery will contain so many photos of only the very best images that were thoughtfully and intentionally taken. With that being said, film requires natural light for the best results, so my digital camera becomes my go-to in low light conditions indoors or during your reception, after the sun has gone down. I also love to shoot digitally during more candid moments, where there may not be as much "posing" involved, and I can take more images in a short amount of time. After your wedding day, I send my film off to my film lab, who then processes it and scans it as a digital file, which are then sent over to me. I match my digital photos to my film scans using film emulation presets, and deliver all your photos to you as one cohesive online gallery.
